Happy Birthday, Daniel

Wow! 2011 is almost over. But it's not the end yet. We have one more thing to do before the year ends. And that is wishing Daniel a happy birthday :D!!!

He is officially 16 years old, same age as Liam and Jonathan. He joined Libera in 2008. We can see him in the 'New Dawn' album. For a 16 year old boy, he sure has a high voice. Plus, he has solos in both albums and concerts. Not sure if he'll still has a solo for the next year. As you can see, his voice is almost getting deeper. I hope he's still in Libera, so I can see him in Singapore in April very soon ;). For now, enjoy being sweet 16, Daniel.

Happy Birthday, Luke

Today we have another birthday boy this month. And it's Luke Collins' birthday :). Let's all greet him.

Now he's 13 years old. He joined Libera in 2008 and was involved in the 'Peace' album together with Mine Akpobome (I wonder what happen to him). He also toured with Libera on their Asia tour to Japan, Korea and the Philippines last year with Cassius for the first time. Enjoy your birthday, Luke. God bless!

Christmas Greeting Video

It's Christmas eve already. And our precious angels, Libera, has sent us a Christmas greeting on YouTube today. Here, we can see the boys getting ready for the Christmas shows. We also see Barney and Cassius greeting us. I love it when they're playing with their Moose dolls. In case you don't know, Moose is their mascot. At the end of the video, it's the whole group (the ones on the Chris Evans show) saying "Merry Christmas" and Moose hanging on the tree. How cute :3.

Singapore Concert Poster

The poster for the Singapore concert is out! Yippee. Thank you, Yuni, for the copy :). For the tickets, it'll be on sale on 28 December, according to Lexi's blog. They can be ordered at this site www.sistic.com.sg. Great! I'll definitely tell my parents to help me booked the tickets once they're available. I wonder if this poster will be on sale at the concert. I hope it's not too expensive.

*Update (24 Feb): Another poster for Singapore is out now. Looks kind of new and nice than the other one. I wonder if they'll sell both of these posters there. Thank you to Yuni again for finding this poster on Twitter.

Libera on BBC Radio2

Wow. It seems that Libera has been a lot on TV shows and radio this Christmas season. And now, today they were on BBC radio2 with Chris Evans on "The Chris Evans Breakfast Show". Actually, Kavana tweeted that they will be on the radio. Thanks, Kav :). The radio aired at 6:30 - 9:30 am (UK time). That's about 1:30 - 4:30 am here in Malaysia. If you want to listen to the radio, click here

*Update (23 December): In case you've missed yesterday's radio show, Jimmy Riddle tweeted a link where you can hear the part where Libera is singing the carols (not the full one). Thanks a lot. Click here.

Libera on UKTV "This Morning"

Libera made their appearance on UKTV show "This Morning" today. Thanks to Jimmy Riddle for the upload :). This video has something new to be shown to us. You wanna know why? Libera boys in their casual clothes, of course!!! For the first video, we can see Barney, Kavana, and Cassius sitting on a bean bag wearing their casual clothes besides their white robes this time. They were playing some games with the hosts where they got to judge the jokes inside the Christmas crackers.

Then in the 2nd video, we see 16 boys singing "Joy to the World" at the end. Btw, it's all from the same show. Just that Jimmy separate them.

Libera on AP

Today Associated Press has just released a video of Libera. They were on AP Music. Thanks to Kazuyo for the link on Twitter. In the video, you can see three boys, Kavana, Jude and Cassius, talking about making album and stuff. What amazes me is that they make albums when they were 10 years old. Oh my word! So young! Well, here in Malaysia, the Chinese stars started singing when they were 5 years old ;). They mention Susan Boyle too. I think this video looks almost the same from the link Jimmy Riddle gave on Twitter. You can also see a sneak peek of "Carol of the Bells", "O Holy Night" and "Lullabye" MV in this video.

Stefan Leadbeater with Michael Buble

Trinity Boys Choir made their appearance with Michael Buble in a 90 minute UKTV show called  "Home for Christmas". They sang "Silent Night" together with him. And I'm sure you all know one of the Libera member is from that choir. And that is Stefan Leadbeater, of course^^!! The last time I saw his picture is him wearing his school uniform. He looks cute in that. He's a great soloist as always :). Great job, Stef. Hope to see you in concerts soon.

Libera on Gabby TV

While I was away, Libera appeared on UKTV on a show called "Live with Gabby". The video is available on YouTube now. Thank you to Michael for uploading it for us :). First Gabby interviewed Kavana, Barney and Cassius. Then it's 14 boys singing "Carol of the Bells".

Happy Birthday, Tiarnan

Very sorry that I can't greet a happy birthday to Tiarnan on his actual day cause I was in Hong Kong for 5 days. Well, it's okay. Happy belated birthday btw, Tiarnan :).

I talked to him once on MSN in January, during Chinese New Year time in Malaysia. Thanks to Camille who gave me the link to his account :). We talk about ourselves and we had fun. He is a nice guy. Can't wait to see him in Singapore. Hope you can become a great singer when you grew up, Tiarnan, even though you don't have any solos in albums or concerts.

Happy Birthday, James M

We have not seen this member for a long time in Libera since the USA concerts. Can you guess who's birthday is it today? In case you guys forget, it's James Mordaunt (AKA Mini James) :D!!!

Hello, birthday boy. We missed seeing you in Libera. With your cute smile and personalities, you know how to bright up our day. I'm not so sure if he has left Libera already. I hope you come back to Libera and to see you in concerts.

Libera on Classic FM Radio

Libera had an interview on Classic FM in the UK today. They interviewed Barney, Cassius and Kavana. Thanks Lauren for the link. It's not on YouTube yet, but you can go here to view it. Or if you want to listen or download the Podcast, click here

Happy Birthday, Carlos

On the 6th of December is Carlos' birthday. But because since I couldn't say a birthday greeting on the spot due to exam, I might as well post it now. Happy belated birthday, Carlos :).

He's now 13 years old. Wow! It seems that our Libera boys are growing up, even though they don't look like teens yet. That's okay. People seem to say I don't look 18 too ;). He does have solos in concerts. Hope to hear him sing in the Singapore concert. In the mean time, enjoy your birthday, Carlos. Hope you get lots of presents.

Libera Asia Tour 2012

Yep, it's officially announced for the upcoming spring tour to Asia next year. Yesterday, Libera made their announcement on their site:-

Our next tour will be in the Spring of 2012, when we plan to visit Japan and Singapore.  Japan is well known to us of course and we look forward to renewing friendships with our Japanese friends.  Singapore is a new country for us and we are are very excited to be able to visit there.  We are working on a busy schedule of private and public events, including two performances on Saturday 7th April at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore and performances in the Bunkamura Theatre in Tokyo on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April.

OMG!!! Singapore!!! Yes!!! I might go to the concert there cause it's so near my country and I don't have to worry about transportation. We can either drive or take a night train down. Plus, we have the same time zone too.
So far, Singapore has been added besides the Tokyo concerts. And the tickets are not confirmed yet for the concert. Will update it when I find out more.

Still, Still, Still MV

On Songs of Praise, Libera performed "Still, Still, Still". It's quite short but very nice to hear. Awesome as usual. Thank you so much. Very sorry if I post this quite late. I was busy studying. Also in the video, we can see the older ones like Josh and Liam :D. Very happy to know that. And the newbies seem to be growing up now. But that's okay. We all can't stay young forever. Anyways, enjoy the video.

Happy Birthday, Liam

Today is a very special day for my most fav member of Libera. You wanna know why? Cause today is Liam's birthday!!! Woohoo!!

Now Liam is officially 16 years old. And I'm glad he's back on Twitter, although he doesn't reply to fans that much. Oh ya. In his Twitter, he's also putting his compose songs. No singing voice of his yet but maybe someday he will. Liam, I'm not sure if I'll be seeing you in Libera next year for the SEA tour or if I'm planning to see Libera but you'll always still be my fav member of Libera no matter what :). Have a great birthday and I wish you every success in music and life in the future. Fighting! ♥
Here's a nice portrait to remind that I'll always be your fan forever.

And a video of Liam too. The video is not made by me but by a Russian fan named Xusha. Thanks a lot since I did not have time to make any video. Sorry, Liam. Maybe next time, okay?

Yeah, those are my surprises for this very special day :).

Libera Appearing on Songs of Praise

I totally forgot about one big news that's gonna happen tomorrow. On 4 December, Libera will be appearing on Songs of Praise at 5:25 pm (UK time). That's on Liam's birthday :D!!! The theme of the show is called 'God Made Man' where they explore the significance of Jesus' birth. Hmm, a new song, eh? Well, we shall soon see tomorrow. I don't know what time it'll show for our time zone. Maybe I'll just wait for someone to upload the show on YT. Thank you to Dani and Lexi for the info.

Happy Birthday, Kavana

Wow! It's December already. Can feel the Christmas feeling. And Libera have a lot of members whose birthday is on December, not just Liam alone. And today's is Kavana's birthday!! Yay!!

Now Kavana's officially 13 years old. And he's also Libera's spokesperson. He still has no solo yet in albums but does have in concerts. One day, you'll be a great singer, Kavana. Enjoy your birthday :).
Looks like I gotta think of something special on Liam's birthday. It'll be quite simple though, since I don't have much time due to studies for finals.

O Holy Night MV

Another great music video is out!! Well yesterday it was out but I couldn't post it on the spot cause I have to study. Anyways, this time is "O Holy Night" by Libera. Thank you so much, guys. You're the best. Just realized that there's another MV of Libera on FB. Sorry if I'm not updated that much :p. Enjoy the video. Hope Libera will have another DVD with this video and "Carol of the Bells".

Libera on Bliss TV

In case you missed the live show on Bliss TV, Michael has posted a video on the whole live show. Thank you, Michael. This is the first time Libera is hosting a TV show, just that it's Christmas only. The 5 boys were Issac, Cassius, Kavana, Michael (not the fan I mention above) and Jude. All of them were so cute. I wish they would show the older boys. I miss them. Anyways, they were hosting a show called 'Libera's Christmas carols' but they didn't performed any songs in the show. Just the hosting only. I can't believe Issac is 8 years old. So young? Lol! I thought he'll be like 11 or 12 years old. That's okay. You'll grow some day, Issac. And I thought Michael is the youngest because of his cute, baby-face looks. But no. He he.
For the 1st song which is "Walking In The Air", Cassius sang the first line of the song until he pauses and says, "And the rest I have forgotten". Ha ha ha!! That part make me laugh. You should listen to the song more often, Cassius :).
Cassius did his Donald Duck imitation! Yay! Miss those loads. I don't know why :).
I have to agree with Kavana about not having silent night. Well, now that we're all living in the 21st century, we'll definitely have loads of noises by toys, cars, trains, dogs. And my, that's quite a lot of noises. But we'll get use to them. Oh btw, love Issac putting Cassius' hand to his face :3.
It's amazing to know that these 5 boys here are all Glee fans. Ha ha ha! Sorry, I don't like Glee that much :P.
Funny that Issac can't pronounce Christina Aguilera's name right. And Kav corrected him. Lol!
That's all about my review of this post. If you have finished reading them, you can go ahead and watch the video yourselves. Have a Merry Christmas, everybody :)))).

London Concert at St George

I'm sure everyone who attends the concert last night must have enjoyed themselves, especially our Libera friends. According to Yuki, she said that London must be very cold. But after all, it's almost winter time. Hopefully we can take the cold if me and my family were planning for a winter tour to Europe next year. Yes, it includes London too :).
It seems that there are 5 newbies at the concert. Their names are:-

- Misha Lieven
- Oscar McFall
- Michael Menezes
- Bertie Smart
- Lucas Wood

Thanks to Inna for the whole chorister list of the St George concert. The rest of the boys are the same. Hopefully someone post some pictures of the newbies and the whole concert.

*Update (4 Dec): I will not be posting any new post about the UK concert because of some personal reasons, but you can check the concert list and photos from Lexi's blog or Yuki's blog. Thanks for sharing, girls.

Christmas Songs on YouTube + Carol of the Bells MV

A fan named Bamboo has posted a few videos from YouTube of some of the songs from Libera's Christmas album to his/her blog. This is great for those who didn't get the album yet. Thank you for the link in your comment :). Click here to go to the user's blog.
I'm pretty sure some of you have heard the full song of "Joy to the World" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" already. Here are a few with full audio track. I can feel the Christmas feeling now :D!!
Good news for all us fans. Today Libera has posted a MV of "Carol of the Bells". This is so cool! Thank you, Libera.

The First Noel:

White Christmas (this is longer than the QVC video):

O Holy Night:

Enjoy these great videos :).

China and Southeast Asia Tour

Do you remember that I talked a little bit about Southeast Asia tour? You can go here to read my post. Well, it seems the rumor is getting true :). Oh boy!! Since they've been to the Philippines, Japan and Korea already, it's time to try somewhere new. Jimmy Riddle has found an article about Libera's Christmas Album called Access Music's online magazine which you can read here. This is the line taken from the magazine:-

"Tour plans for 2012 include performances in China, Japan and Southeast Asia."

Alright!! This is so awesome!! My guess is before the 2 concerts in Tokyo. And do you remember that Mr Philipp said that they wanted to go to China for the summer but instead they went on to the USA? Well, this rumor is true now. Libera is finally going to China. But not sure which part of China they are going. Hopefully Beijing. This can be your lucky day for all Chinese fans out there.
For Southeast Asia tour, can you guess where :)? Singapore? Indonesia? Or my country, Malaysia :D?? Oh boy!! I can't wait for more info. But we must wait for Libera's official announcement from their site.
But anyways, thank you, Jimmy Riddle and Lexi for the link and news.
Speaking of Singapore, you remember that I post about a possible concert there? A fan from Dublin named Tony said that it might be true. But as I said, don't get your hopes too high. Just wait patiently for official announcement. Go here to read my post about it.

Libera Christmas Album Preview

It looks like I'm the only feel left out on not being active on Libera updates recently (cry). Just kidding! Anyways, Libera has updated a Christmas video preview. Thanks to Lexi for the news on her blog :). I can feel the Christmas feelings already. The footage is a video of the concert in the Philippines and other places.
First was a clip of Libera in concerts, Arundel and maybe Philippines. Then the boys who talk in the video were Cassius, Kavana, Michael, Barney, Ralph, Jude, Matthew R-A and Nano Ben :). They are now Libera's spokesperson. I love this quote when Michael says, "We're having a Christmas album, umm........which is going to be all Christmassy." Ha ha. You're really cute :3. I have to agree with Nano Ben with the song "In Dulci Jubilo" because it's bouncy and jolly. In my opinion, it is!! Love the clip where they sang "Veni Veni Emmanuel". My fav song is "Carol of the Bells" too, Kavana :). This quote inspires me a lot by Jude, "We hope we make this Christmas more special for our fans around the world, because even if they don't get to see us, they can enjoy at home listening to us". This is very true, especially for me and the other fans. Even if we can't see them, we can always support them and their music.
Well, it's good to let the younger ones take over, although we might see the older ones like Ben P, JB and Liam in the video.
I love where Eoghan is sitting on the swing. I used to sit that once in my friend's house garden. I miss sitting those.

Eternal Light MV & Photos

For those who got the 'Winter Songs' CD, which is officially released today (lucky Japanese), have seen the new video of "Eternal Light". Take note that it is the full version, not the SOP one. Libera has posted the video. Thanks for the notification from some fans on Twitter :). Libera is so thoughtful. In fact, the video was taken at Primrose Hill, London from last year. I remember Libera posted two pictures from the video too. We thought is the "Lullabye" video but it's not. He he! Don't know why they didn't show it to us last year. They all look so young compare to this year's boys. Sigh! I'm gonna miss their faces soon.
Hagy and Yuki have capture some screenshots from the video. Thank you, girls. Click on the blog links below to see the caps.

Libera Official Philippines Photos

Libera's photos from their Philippines tour last October is out, guys!! Woo hoo!! Well, it's not as much as the Canada or USA one, since they only spent a few days there, plus the concerts in Manila and Cebu. Thank you so much, Libera, for these fantastic photos, even though it's just a few. You can go here to their Gallery site to see more.

Matthew R-A signing a poster for a fan.

Ralph making a speech at the m&g in Manila.

The boys at the Press Conference.

Bowling!! I miss bowling!!

Hey, I remember that building behind the boys. It's the same pic here from their tour in 2009. But this time the boys are in their white hoodies besides their blue polo shirts.

Arrival at the airport in Cebu.

Having a group photo taken before going up the plane to Cebu.

Josh's nice smile. Love the way Cassius is looking at him.

Having fun at the beach this time wearing their hoodies. This reminds me of the time they were at the beach in California in 2009.

Group photo at the beach.

Libera on QVC UK

Thank you for those who reminded me that Libera appeared on QVC TV in the UK. Yeah, I know. Was obsessed with K-Pop songs now. He he! Anyways, the 10 boys who were in the video are Stefan, Barney, Matthew J, Daniel, Cassius, Matthew R-A, Luke, Kavana, Eoghan and Ralph. They sang three songs - "Joy to the World", "Carol of the Bells" and "White Christmas". Thank you, Michael, for uploading the video. I can't watch it live today cause I have to go for church service this evening. And I miss all the fun in Twitter party with my Libera friends all over the world :(. That's okay. I'll try to make it the next time (if I'm not busy with anything). Click HERE to see the video.
Below are the screencaps from the video. There are 99 in total but I'll only be putting a few. Thank you, Patrick, for the caps :). See more HERE.

Congrats to Libera for having 3000 followers :D. Thanks, Lexi, for the capture :).

Cebu Concert Pics

Hey guys. I will not be putting up any photos from the Cebu concert because they seem to be a lot and I can't decide which to put. But I'll be sharing the links where you can see them. I have found two at the moment. Thank you to those who shared with us. Have a nice day.

Himig ng Pasko Video

I'm guessing you guys who didn't attend the Philippines concert is eager to hear how the Filipino Christmas song sounds like. Well, good news!! Libera has posted a video of the song on YT :D!! Thank you, Libera. Below are the lyrics and translation of the song. Thanks, Nikki for the link to tagaloglang.com.
