Libera's New Website

After having a tired but fun day in night class at college yesterday, there's always something to cheer me up. And that is Libera!!! This morning I found a notice in their FB page:-

"Our new Website has gone live, although it may take a few hours to reach all parts of the Internet."

The website has been updated!!! YAYYY!!! Well done. Love their new pictures too. Below are some of their new pictures from their US tour last year. You can see more of their pics in their Gallery section.

Hey! Isn't this the same picture from the video? But Josh still looks cool with the cowboy hat♥

USA tour in Ft Worth. They use this same picture in the UK program book.

Nice baseball caps.

Ooh!! 3D glasses :D!! Did you guys went and see a 3D show or something? He he. And how come Alex's glasses are black? :/

Group picture in black hoodies. Lovely♥

New Song For New Movie

Libera has done it again!! First is the Epsom concert, the release of "Miracle of Life" and upcoming Canada tour. Now they're starring in a new movie called "The Great Miracle" (El Gran Milagro). It's a 3D animated film directed by Bruce Morris of Disney fame. The story is about 3 characters who are facing different life struggles and end up attending a daily Catholic Mass.
The movie will be released on October 2011. But it's funny that it came out on February 14 2011. Anyways, Libera will be featured in 4 songs. The biggest moment is "Benedictus Deus" and the rest are "Offerings", "I Miss You" and "Ultimate Love".
All thanks to Fan_de_lok and Jimmy Riddle from Libera Dreams forum for telling us this news :).
Below is the video from one of the songs.

Update:Here's another video of the new song, "Benedictus Deus". All thanks to Inna for finding the video :).

My Libera Story

Well, you all want to know how I became a fan, right? Here's my story on how I knew Libera and when I became a fan:-

Before I knew Libera, I was a big fan of one Japanese actor name Ryunosuke Kamiki. I tried to find his movies or dramas around every store since crunchyroll has closed down some of the videos there. I was also halfway watching a movie of his too. Although I did bought his movie but I forgot to take it back from my friend's house and it has been there for years. Eventually, I saw his shows in mysoju, a website that shows a lot of Asian dramas. But I wasn't interested to watch or buy anymore. And I'll tell you why after one nasty friendship break up with a girl from school.
I was looking for a song called 'Orinoco Flow' on YouTube just for the sake of fun and to keep me from boredom. Suddenly I stumble upon one group called Libera. So, I click on the video and watch it. I didn't watch it fully yet since I'm new to them. Their singing was so good. Like angels from heaven."How the heck did they get such high voices?" I thought. I click on more videos from them. The videos I've watched recently were 'Far Away' and 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'. As I watch more of their videos, especially the one from Leiden, I began to like them more and more each day.
When I heard that Libera travels everywhere like Japan, Korea, US, UK and the Philippines, I began planning to watch them live. But I couldn't find any right time for me to go due to school activities and exams. But never mind about that. I mustn't give up hope. Who knows I will see them eventually.
I've also met a lot of other Libera fans too from Libera 360. Then later became friends on FB. They're so nice. Chix and Mrs Guzman are the first few friends I met in that site. I met more fans later on.

So that's how I became a fan in 2009. Sorry it's very long. I feel that they're so different from any other super stars I like previously. But anyways, Libera is the best and always is forever!! :D

Liam At School

A fan named Michael John Beros has posted this picture of Liam Connery himself in a school uniform. I kind of like British school uniforms. It's so unique than our school uniforms here. He looks handsome in his uniform :)!
Actually this picture is from the London Oratory School website. I guess that's where Liam studies at. I haven't seen that picture before when I first visit that website. There's a boy beside him that looks a bit like Tiarnan. He's not in this pic. Click here to go to the school's website and see the full picture of Liam.

*Take note that the fan didn't took this picture from his personal Facebook account or anything, okay? Please don't blame me and let me know if I'm putting any personal pictures of his into my blog. Thanks.

Post Concert From Epsom

Just found something really interesting from Lexi's blog. It's a video from the Epsom concert taken by FliegenerTeppich. Before the concert, we can see Tom coming down the stairs. Then later, we saw Daniel, Ralph, Ben and Stefan signing autographs and meeting their fans. According to Rebecca, she told me that her mom's voice can be heard in the video, saying to Daniel, "She came all the way from Texas to see you." Isn't that nice :).
Ben is really charming when it comes to meeting his fans^^.
During the video where a few boys go up the coach, I saw Liam :D!!! And my, he's more gorgeous than before, eventhough he still looks the same like last year. He he! I can see him laughing inside. We can't hear him though. I was kind of love struck when I saw him. (♥Sigh!!♥) Just kidding :p.
Overall, it's a good video. Thanks for posting this, FliegenerTeppich.

Miracle of Life

Good news! The new cd "Miracle of Life" has been released. Thank you Hagy for posting this. Maybe this could really comfort the Japanese people from their fears. Libera's music is the best medicine that they need.
But come to think of it, the cover looks nice. The background picture looks like a pink rose. Hope to hear the full version of the new song soon.

Congratulations, Josh

Just checked out other blogs and saw the results from AFTI Media Boy Poll. And guess who win?

JOSH MADINE!!!

Well, Josh. I don't know how to say this but you really deserve it. I'm sure your fans must be happy about you. Congrats!! Of course, there are some members who made it too like Ben Philipp (33), Kavana Crossley (39), Liam Connery (44), Tom Cully (60), Henry Barrington (73), Ralph Skan (73), Jonathan Barrington (88), Sam Leggett (88) and Jakob de Menezes Wood (108).
For Liam, sorry that you didn't make it but I'm proud of you :). So are your fans.

Right Timing

I've been thinking lately about Libera's tours this year. I thought their tour is gonna be in Japan or Korea again. But now Japan has a very bad earthquake, so it's a good thing Libera wasn't planning to go there at the moment. I believe that God has perfect timing for their tours this year. Instead they announced that they're going to Canada this spring. Do thank Him for that. About their promotion for the new song, they may have to delay it until it is safe to go there again. But of course, do continue to pray for them. As for other tours they're planning to go this year, we may have to wait and see how everything goes. In the mean time, I wish Libera good luck for the Canada tour this April.

Happy Birthday, Stefan

Well, since it's 20th of March here, I might as well say Happy Birthday to our beloved soloist, Stefan Leadbeater :D !!! He has turn 13 now. Wow! What a big boy he is :D.

Stefan, has your voice gotten low already? Some of the fans who went to Epsom last Friday said you were. But I'm glad you still got some solos. Keep it up. You can still keep singing eventhough your voice is almost breaking soon.
Enjoy your birthday, Stef :).

Review From Epsom Concert

Rebecca, a friend of mine from Texas, is so lucky that she get to go to UK to see Libera live in Epsom. Well, I'm sure she enjoyed it very much. Here's a mini review but it's interesting :)!! Well done, Rebecca. Post more next time. This is what she say so far:-

That was the most amazing night of my life!!!!

As people will probably say, I was going quite insane before hand, and during, but to an okay level I think

The soloists might not be right, but here goes my best shot!

(the piano was blocking part of the stage, but it was fine)

Jubliate chained with Libera

Freddie and Cassius speech

Eternal Light - Stefan and Ralph

Sanctissima - Ralph

Sanctus (it was AMAZING!)

Kavana speech

Alwys with You - Freddie with Jakob on the Ah's

Song of Life - Ralph. This was beyond words! In my top 5 favorite songs ever for sure!! LOVED it!

Salva Me - Stefan and ? (piano was blocking)

Lamentione - Ralph on the Ah's (I have writtien down that the low parts were very nice : ) )

Exultate - Stefan and Daniel. The moving was very cool!

Interval

Mysterium - Ralph chained wth Gloria

Freddie speech again

Fountain - Ralph

When a Knight - Ralph

Stay with me - ? on the Ah's and Daniel (AMAZING solo from Daniel!)

Liam speech, saying that some of the older boys are at home studying

Ave Verum - Carlos

Love and Mercy - James and Freddie

Going Home - James and Daniel

Jude speech ("Hi I'm Jude! I'm new!")

How Shall I sing - Jakob and Stefan

encore: the Exultate reprise!

During the whole first 2 songs, mini-ben was staring right at me and I also made eye contact with Jonathan, Jakob, Liam, and Daniel, who looked at me for all of the Fountain. Also, my mom said Liam was staring at me a lot, guess I didn't see that

Afterwords we hung around, just to see if they'd come out, and a few of them did!! I got my picture taken with Stefan, Daniel and Ben and got Daniel and Ben's autographs! I was talking with Ben for a few minutes, and he said that he hopes no one sees him staying after to take pictures and sign

I also had a run in with Tom - literally! I was going up to say hi to him, and he came running down the stairs and nearly flattened me! It was all good though, cause I got to say hi and take his picture

It was overall the best experience of my life! I loved meeting everyone and talking before the concert! It was a ton of fun!

I was even tearing up before and during the concert, it was just that amazing!More to come once I'm home tomorrow, hopefully!

I didn't know Liam did a speech there. I wonder how deep his voice is now. But you did a great job, Liam :)! And to the rest, you guys are awesome too!!! Maybe after your Canada tour, hopefully you guys can come to Southeast Asia for a tour. We want to hear your angelic music once more.
