St Paul Video

Today I just got home from shopping when I saw Mini Angels blog. Lauren has posted a short video clip of the concert at St Paul. Thank you, Lauren, for uploading it :). You're the best! Also you can see Lexi's review in her blog.
Finally, Liam and Sammy were on the tour now!! (Fan girl scream) I knew it wasn't a mistake after all. According to Lexi's review, Liam and Sammy were on a school trip to Poland. That's why they couldn't make it to the first concert. Oh well. Glad they arrive to USA safely and rejoin the group. I didn't know Liam and Sammy were in the same school :).

Happy Birthday, Freddie

Someone reminded me on FB yesterday that Freddie's birthday is coming. Thank you. I totally forgot all about it. How silly of me :p! But anyways, happy birthday, Freddie :D!!!

Hope you get to celebrate your birthday in the USA and get lots of presents from the fans. Keep up the good work in singing with Libera and enjoy the tour as well, of course :). I hope to hear your solo in future albums or concerts.

Sorry I can't remove the picture of Barney :p

Libera Fox 9 News Interview

Four Libera members Kavana, Ralph, Cassius and Josh were being interviewed today on Fox 9 News Buzz by Jason Matheson. Thank you, Jimmy Riddle, for the video and the info on Twitter :).
Josh is 16, Cassius is 10, Ralph is almost 13 and Kavana is 12. Basically, they just talk about the auditions and how they got into the group. Almost the same like the Salt + Light interview. And omg! I love Cassius' glasses. What really sparks me is when Kavana said some of the boys are in the same schools. Well, I guess this is true sometimes.
Kavana also talk about the experience at the Papal Mass and he said almost the same thing in the Salt + Light interview. Lol!
I love the part where Cassius was saying he's the odd one out when he was on tour (most likely is the Asia tour last year) and his parents were quite shocked. Well, Cassius, I don't think you're the odd one out. You're the famous one more likely, in my opinion ^^.
For the question about who inspires their music the most,
Kavana doesn't have a music inspiration but I guess his inspiration is the audiences who went to the concerts to support them.
Ralph's inspiration is Matt Bellamy, the lead vocalist and guitarist  of the rock band, Muse.
Cassius' inspiration is everything, but he pauses for a moment. I laughed when he does that. It's quite funny. Great moment ever!
Josh's inspiration is pretty much the same like Kavana's.

Christmas Song Download

This morning I got an e-mail from EMI Classics that there's a free preview of Libera's upcoming Christmas album. The song is "Joy to the World". Oh boy! This is great! It's exactly just like what they did last year when they were promoting for the Peace album, which they gave us the song, "O Sanctissima".
I'm guessing this must be the photos from their photoshoot they did earlier before the tour. The top photo has Stefan, Matthew, Cassius, Barney and Ralph. The bottom photo has Matthew, Cassius and Eoghan (I think).
Click here to sign up and the song will e-mailed straight to you. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna sign up too :).

Minneapolis Concert Photos

Here are some great photos from the first concert in Basilica of St. Mary at Minneapolis. All thanks to Lexi and Lauren for uploading these photos. They also wrote a review about the concert. See here for their review.

Members List and Concert Program

A huge thank you to Fan de Lok for posting the whole list of members and the concert program into the French forum and Libera Dreams forum. In total, there are 26 members on the tour. Wow! That's a lot! The newbies are Thomas Delgado-Little, Ben Fairman, Issac London, Matthew Madine, Michael Ustynovych-Repa and Orlando Woscholski. Members who are missing ar Jonathan, Mini James and Stefan. I wonder why? For Stefan, he maybe in Vienna working on an opera. Also missing were Liam and Sammy, although their name was on the program. Very weird and odd too.
What's good news is that Josh has a solo on Eternal Light. I'm guessing he's taking over Stefan's solo. Thank you, Lexi and Yuki, for the update :).
I guess I made a mistake about Liam coming for this tour (sad face). I know it's very strange that his name is there. I got a nice surprise for him anyway.

To celebrate Libera's USA tour, I want to share some few photos taken from Crystal Cathedral, L.A, in 2009. Credit goes to Jenna for these photos. Thanks for sharing these photos, Jenna. Hope you enjoy the Chicago concert.

Red Carpet at Starkey Gala

Today Kare11 has posted a short video clip from the Starkey Gala red carpet. We don't see Libera on the red carpet but we can see them performing around 0:45. All thanks to Maartendas from the forum for this news :). Click on the link below to see the video clip and the news.

Photos from Starkey Gala

Here are two great photos from the Gala show. Thank you, Rebecca, for finding them :). Credit goes to the Starkey website btw.

Libera at Starkey Gala

As you know, Libera is performing a concert at Starkey Gala on the 24, which is the same night I went to another choir concert. They'll be singing 'Song of Life' there. And today Libera posted on their FB page, "Looking forward to the Starkey Awards Gala later today. Wondering who we will meet backstage..."
There were so many of them appearing at the Gala show. I think I could see Josh from this picture here, but I'm not sure if it's him.

Karina (AKA choiretto) has spotted Liam somewhere in one of the short clips. She said he was where RP is with the piano and when Ralph was singing a few lines of 'Song of Life'. I hope she spotted correctly.
Anyways, thank you, Lexi for putting some lovely pictures of the Gala show into her blog. See more from her blog.
Oh, before I forget, they posted 3 clips of Libera. See here.
There are also some clips of Libera sharing the stage with John Rich and Marlee Matlin. But unfortunately, none of them has Libera singing with them. Oh bother! Don't worry. I'm sure the website will put longer videos :). Look on the bright side. They still have concerts to go through.

Happy Birthday, Alex

Let's all greet Alex a very happy birthday. He's 15 now :D!!

As you all know, Alex is the younger brother to Sam Leggett and cousin to Josh, Matthew and Jakob. He's still in the group though Sam is taking his exams like Josh. Hope to see you in future concerts.

Libera Christmas Album

I can't believe at what I saw from Lexi's and Yuki's blog this morning. Libera is having a new Christmas album soon, probably around November and December. Check it out here. Wowee!! Thank you so much, Libera. I'm sure we'll all enjoy your new album.
I knew they were gonna do a Christmas album. Cause I remember Libera Philippines Project ask this question about what Christmas song you want Libera to sing. I wonder why they only show 8 boys in this picture. Show some older ones as well.
In the mean time, thanks once again. Enjoy your tour to the USA.

From left to right:
Freddie (I think), Eoghan, Cassius, Ralph, Matthew, Luke, Jakob and Kavana

Update (today): Two new photos uploaded in the blog, though the first one looks the same from above.

Finally we can see Kavana and Stefan :). Of course not forgetting Jakob and Matthew (behind)

Libera CD in Taiwan

I just found out recently that there are various Libera cd albums in Taiwan. Here's one that Fan de Lok found from Amazon, chinese version.

It says 'Angel Voices'. Not sure if it's the same from the 2006 version because it has a lot of tracks and the cover is different. Same goes to the other cds.
But in fact, it's way cooler to have a Libera cd in chinese words. And the name Libera in chinese is 天使之翼 (Tianshi Zhi Yi) which means 'Angel Wings', if I'm not mistaken. See more of their cds in Taiwan from Amazon and for the tracks from this cd here.

5 Songs Sample

EMI is celebrating Libera's summer tour to the USA and they're giving away 5-track Libera digital album where you can download for free. Most of us have the songs already. But who cares? We all love Libera and their music. It's also a great way to spread their music to other people who don't know Libera yet.
Thank you, Libera and Jimmy Riddle, for being the best information finder.

The 5 songs are:

- Sanctus
- Love and Mercy
- Orinoco Flow
- Going Home
- Far Away

New Libera Blog

Libera has just posted a new post about preparing for the tour, which you all knew about it by now. Click here to read more.
It's amazing that they have long hours of rehearsals just to make it perfect for the concerts. Well, I hope it'll work out well and there's no disasters happen during the concert. I still can't get this off my head: "I practice in the shower, and my parents show their appreciation by telling me to be quiet as they’re watching T.V." Ha ha ha ha!!! I guess Liam's not the only one who sings in the shower. I don't sing in the shower a lot but my dad does, and it annoys me sometimes =.= .
And yes, I agree with Libera. It is a stage show and it has to be perfect for the audiences. But it's common sense to all performers as well, not just Libera alone. When any choir wants to perform live anywhere, they had to make it perfect so that no mistakes will happen during the actual day of the concerts.
Thank you once again, to whoever wrote this post. But my guess is Liam :). He used to tweet about singing in the showers and the whole neighborhood can hear him in his Twitter account. Sigh! Brings back memories.

Super Premium Tickets

Libera concert tickets are now available at Ticketweb. Please buy them if you wanna catch them live.
There's an update it seems in Mini Angels blog. According to them, there will be SUPER PREMIUM tickets for the two concerts in Texas, which is Houston and Frisco. It's something like a VIP seat but you'll be sitting way in front so you can see the boys clearer. But thanks, Mini Angels, for telling us. We'll wait and see if they are selling those tickets.

"So The World May Hear" Charity Concert

Great news! Libera is going to perform a charity gala concert for Starkey Hearing Foundation on July 24, which is on Sunday. Not only just them singing but there's other artist who will be singing as well. It's been a while since Libera did a charity concert in Japan last two years. But it's also a great experience for the boys. Thanks, Lexi and Lauren for this info at their blog :)

Libera Video from E Morning

Yay! The video from E Morning is finally uploaded to YouTube. All thanks to hagy for posting the link in Twitter. Please watch before it gets deleted.
First is the MC introducing Libera to Japanese viewers. Then later it's Kavana and the boys talking in Japanese. How cool is that? I love it when they talk in Japanese :). It's amazing they still know certain Japanese words. The background looks like the same from the EMI interview.
After that, there's a short video clip from their MV, Song of Life and the picture of the new cd, Miracle of Life.

Song of Life on Japanese TV Show

Here are some great pictures from the Japanese TV show I mention earlier. No one has posted the video from this TV show to YouTube yet but hopefully we will see it soon. Credit goes to YukiBOL for uploading these pictures to her blog.
Of course, after this video, they have a music clip of Song of Life. And the MC saying, "They'll come to Japan next April". What a happy day for Japanese fans indeed.

Miracle of Life on Japanese TV Show

A huge thank you to Yuni (madinelover) for telling this news in her blog and to hagy and Fan_de_Lok for telling in the forum.
EMI Japan has announced that a show named E Morning will introduced Libera and their talk about the Miracle of Life cd. A comment video from Libera will also be shown as well. Oh boy! I can't wait to see it or if someone will upload it on YouTube.
It's also a great opportunity for Libera to spread their music to Japan after what happen in the last few months.
You can see the news here or here to go to E Morning's website.

So, what are you waiting for? Join in to answer the questions now, if you haven't!!

Rumor About Philippines Tour

I don't know if this rumor is true but Mrs Guzman told me on FB that Libera is coming back to the Philippines this October. This should be great for all Filipino fans out there. I'm happy for them. But a little reminder, guys. Don't get your hopes too high yet. You never know rumors can be true or false. Just wait patiently for Libera's announcement after their summer tour.
Last but not least, save up your money ;)
