Another Article About Christmas Album

Eoghan, Jakob, Jude, (Cassius?) and Kavana

Today from my inbox, someone named John from the AV Yahoo Group has posted a link to an article about Libera's Christmas album. They didn't mention the Philippines tour, except in Mr Philipp's message, but they have put in his, Kavana's and Henry's message about making the album. I'll just put their comments here. Here's a message from Mr Philipp:

“Libera has become something of a local institution in south London, but we’ve also got fans all over the world, particularly in the US and the Far East.

“The boys get the pop star treatment when they perform over there. This autumn we’re off on tour to the Philippines during half term, performing at Southwark Cathedral and releasing the new album with EMI so we’re as busy as ever.”

Here's what Kavana said:


“I’ve got some brilliant friends in Libera as we spend so much time together at rehearsals in Norbury, travelling and performing all over the world. My best experience was singing in the Yankee Stadium in New York. It was the first big thing I did when I was eight.”


Here's what Henry said:

"It was funny recording the Christmas songs in the middle of summer, in fact it really was because we went outside in the breaks and messed around in the sun.

"And then we had some photographs taken for the album cover. We had all our white robes on, but it was in the middle of summer so there was no snow."

Just to highlight on a few things from the article and Henry's comment. First of all, according to Henry, they had some photographs taken for the album cover. So, does this mean there will be more photos for the album? Well, we shall find out soon. 
Second of all, I just noticed something from the article. The album will be released on 21st OF NOVEMBER?!! So late?! Except for Philippines, of course. Amazon UK has stated it here.
Also, a fan named horticult2000, also from the group, received a mail from Amazon that the album will be postponed to 23/24 November. 


So, for those who are planning to buy the album online, please be patient for awhile until that date comes. Don't feel disappointed. Maybe they want to postponed it for the concert at St George. 
I'm not sure if the album released dates for US, Canada and Japan will be affected. Will find out soon.
